Peter Van Der Merwe is a distinguished individual who has dedicated over two decades on spirituality, complementary healthcare, life coaching, spiritual counseling, and various other modalities. His profound commitment lies in assisting others in achieving their own soul’s purpose. Not only is he a guide, teacher, healer, and philanthropist, but he is also known for his amiable and humorous nature.
Having embarked on his personal journey, Peter escaped the turmoil of his native country, South Africa, more than 25 years ago. Throughout his extensive travels across Europe, he immersed himself in diverse cultures, working and residing in numerous countries. This transformative experience granted him invaluable knowledge, skills, and wisdom, shaping him into the remarkable individual he is today.
Originating from humble beginnings, Peter embarked on his European expedition with limited financial resources. However, through unwavering determination and relentless effort, he achieved remarkable success. He pursued higher education in industrial and organizational psychology, earning his MSc in Organizational Psychology from Holland. Simultaneously, he acquired various qualifications in complementary healthcare, including physiotherapy, massage therapies, and Usui Reiki. His insatiable passion for alternative healthcare and holistic practices propelled his exploration into spirituality, natural healthcare, and the profound meaning of our existence.
After completing his master’s degree, he embarked on a journey across various European countries and explored different parts of the globe. Throughout his extensive tenure in the corporate sector, he pursued further education in alternative healthcare, wellness, and spirituality. His unwavering commitment led him to acquire additional certifications as a life coach, spiritual counsellor, relationship and intimacy therapist, and Kundalini yoga instructor.
Throughout the past 25 years, his journey has been far from easy, as he has encountered numerous challenges along the way. He has gained firsthand knowledge of the world’s cruelty and unkindness. However, even in his darkest moments, he managed to summon the strength, courage, and wisdom necessary to rise and forge ahead. These trials have made him stronger and opened his eyes to the countless individuals who are lost and yearning for guidance, support, and compassion. In recent years, his focus has shifted towards sustainability, eco-technologies, alternative lifestyles, and other remarkable avenues to enhance our overall well-being, including healthcare and education. Above all, he believes that his soul’s purpose is to serve humanity and instigate positive change by extending a helping hand and spreading a little human kindness.

From there, he experienced an incredible surge in popularity, expanding his reach to conduct workshops, events, and retreats all across Europe. Above all, Peter prioritized providing top-notch services and care to his patients and clients. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, he successfully managed three wellness and yoga studios throughout the UK and Ireland. Additionally, he organized numerous events, workshops, and retreats across Europe, with a particular focus on men’s health, wellness, and spiritual development. Peter effortlessly handled groups ranging from 20 to 70 individuals during his retreats, while his events attracted up to 750 attendees. His unwavering passion for sharing knowledge and facilitating meaningful experiences stems from his understanding of how they positively impact individuals on their personal journeys in life.
Prior to departing from the corporate sector and embarking on his current life journey, he gained insight into the evolving world and future events, prompting him to abandon the conventional system and embrace the role of a trailblazer for the betterment of mankind. He currently holds the positions of founder and CEO in two registered NGOs based in the UK, while also serving as the mastermind behind Camino Verde Paraguay (ECHALI). He founded Humanity Unite International and ECAHLI with the soul purpose of helping people and bringing a healthy alternative sustainable future to people in need of change and a dignified fresh new start in life. Over the past year, Paraguay has become his place of residence, where he is actively involved in constructing a personal abode and spearheading the community development of Camino Verde Paraguay starting in 2024. Currently, in between construction and the Camino Verde Paraguay he is offering people treatments and therapies.
